  • Secondary siting is very important for this category as 80% of volume is sold on promotion, so use this to drive impulse purchase
  • 7billion people have scalp or dandruff issues yet are not buying an anti-dandruff product, so ensure you have these medicated SKUs in store
  • Customers prefer to buy different types of hair care product (e.g. shampoo and conditioner) from one brand. So if space is tight, it’s best to offer different product types from just one or two brands
  • Hair Care is a low loyalty category. 85-90% of consumers buy a different brand to what they bought last time
