Aussie rebrands eight collections

Helping range stand out on the shelf

Aussie has unveiled new packaging across its eight collections, including shampoos, conditioners and ‘3 Minute Miracle’ range, plus its conditioning sprays and styling products.

Aussie is the UK’s favourite haircare brand[1] and the portfolio includes Aussome Volume, Colour Mate, Frizz Fixer, Mega, Miracle Moist, Miracle Nourish, Miracle Shine and Repair Miracle. Miracle Moist is the top-selling collection for Aussie in the UK.

With bolder and brighter text, new graphics and a clear description of which hair type the product is aimed at, the bottles have been designed to ensure greater stand-out on shelfs and make it easy for shoppers to identify the ideal solution to their hair requirement.

Available to retailers now, the new-look collections are packed with ingredients to protect, nourish, tame, condition, cleanse, hydrate, repair or add volume to hair, ensuring there is a product available for a number of different haircare needs.

The activity has been supported with a digital-led media plan focusing on attracting a millennial audience. Marketing activity includes a hair and beauty influencer programme to drive advocacy through social platforms, including Instagram and Snapchat, as well as tube advertising takeovers and out of home campaigns. The launch is the biggest ever digital spend in the hair care category.

Jo Vaughan, haircare brand manager, says: “This latest rebrand of the Aussie Collections is a must-stock for retailers, showcasing a range of products for varying haircare requirements. We know that approximately one fifth of health and beauty sales in convenience stores are impulse purchases and retailers can make the most of this by stocking well-known brands such as Aussie. We’re confident that the new pack designs will contribute to growing sales for retailers and further increase brand awareness.”
