Gillette launches its new 'Every Story Has A Face' global campaign

Ahead of the global release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the first standalone Star Wars film, two of the world’s most iconic consumer brands are bringing to life the stories that live behind every face. Gillette, the world’s leading men’s grooming brand, announces its global campaign “Every Story Has a Face” in collaboration with Lucasfilm.

Unveiling “Every Story Has a Face”

Gillette’s “Every Story Has a Face” campaign links the stories of the unknown faces within the Star Wars universe with the underlying truth that every person’s face conveys their story through the look they choose to craft. 

Live now, the new highly engaging creative depicts a standoff between a group of Rebels and a squad of stormtroopers, focusing on one Alliance soldier in particular. Before any shots are fired, the footage is essentially rewound and shows viewers events from earlier that day, including the Rebels suiting up and flying to a planet where a battle is already underway. It ends by showing the soldier from the beginning washing his face in the morning before revealing that it was all an elaborate daydream in a fan’s head as he shaves with his Gillette razor.

As part of the partnership, Gillette has launched three limited edition gift sets which are available in stores now. The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Special Edition Gift Pack features three custom pack designs with iconic Star Wars assets, containing either Fusion ProGlide (RRP £24.99) or Mach3 (RRP £11.99) razors, blades and shave gel.
