Ariel launches new & improved 3in1 Pods and Cold Wash gel

Ariel, one of the leading laundry brands in market, has upgraded its range of liquid products - Ariel 3 in 1 Pods and Ariel Cold Wash gel – to give a better clean and brighter finish. The products are available to retailers now and come in new pack sizes, including Ariel 3in1 Pods 25 wash and Ariel Gel 38 wash.

Ariel 3in1 Pods were the first ever three-compartment detergent to launch in the market. The upgrade to the unique multi-compartment design includes a new innovative film to ensure dissolution even in a quick wash and powerful technologies for superior stain removal and brighter looking clothes.

The energy efficient¹, Ariel Cold Wash Gel has been improved to give clothes the best treatment, even in cool cycles.  Cold water actives and exclusive cleaning boosters help to remove even tough greasy stains at low temperatures.  A new colour preservation formula prevents dirt in the wash water redepositing back onto the clothes which can cause colour fading, whilst an improved brightness system boosts whiteness.

Dan Jalalpour, Senior Brand Manager for Fabric Care at P&G, comments: “This latest upgrade looks set to overhaul the Laundry category.   Over the past year, we have seen a consumer movement towards the use of pods and gel rather than powder formats and our improved products offer outstanding performance, even in a cold wash.

“We know that 80% of loads containing whites also contain colours so we have introduced new technology to tackle the problem of keeping whites bright at the same time as keeping colours vibrant.  Using a deep cleaning formula, a new HD Whiteness Booster and HD Colour Brightness Protector, we are excited about the potential this product brings to the category, and the sales value it offers retailers.”

The latest innovation is just one in a line-up of laundry improvements hitting shelves in the first few months of 2018.  P&G is investing heavily in its laundry portfolio this year in a bid to drive growth in the profitable Wet Format category.
