P&G Works Miracles With New Flash A-ha TV Campaign

Showcases the Flash range, prompting consumers to ‘clean up the impossible’

P&G’s market-leading homecare brand, Flash, has released a brand new advertising campaign featuring the iconic Queen song, ‘Flash’. The TV and radio adverts will run until the end of the year.  They show how Flash Multi Surface Concentrated Cleaner, as well as the rest of the Flash range, ‘clean up the impossible’. 

In the comical new TV advert, a puzzled white pooch wanders the spotless house singing ‘Where the hell has all the mud gone?’ While his owner tunefully replies ‘Flash A-ha, it works miracles’.

Nik Ganich, Home Care Brand Manager at P&G UK & Ireland, says: “Retailers can expect an increase in demand for Flash products over the coming months once consumers see and hear the adverts. The campaign will reach 77% of the UK population and with such a catchy, well-known sound track, we’re confident it will work miracles for store sales.” 

Flash offers a real opportunity to convenience retailers looking to grow their Home Care sales.  The brand has a 38.9% value share within the channel, which is equivalent to £4.5million worth of sales in 12 months.[1]  

Flash Multi Surface Concentrated Cleaner revolutionises cleaning routines thanks to its breakthrough cleaning technology. Its perfectly balanced formula targets dirt, fights grease and helps with stain removal to leave a brilliant shine. Each drop of the all-purpose cleaner contains double the cleaning power compared to regular Flash Lemon.
